Love this post (and this photo of you!) For years, my morning practice has been to say "thank you" as soon as I open my eyes. No matter how tired or grumpy I'm feeling. It's transformative and often sets the tone for the hours that follow. I don't look at my phone right away, either. Although I could definitely extend that time!
Unlike you, I adore the mornings :) I'm up early, hydrate with 32 oz of water with electrolytes, workout and take some breaths. I do my best to stay off my phone BUT with family on the east coast we're always up and chatting via text in the mornings.
Haha, of course I know that and I just can't even, lol. The good thing is by now I know myself and have learned ways to cope with my night owl tendencies. I know it's hard to stay off the phone when you have family far!
